Miami Marlins (6*)
(MLB) Philadelphia vs. Miami,
Money Line: -158.00 Miami (Home)
Result: Loss
The Marlins will host the Phillies on Tuesday in a battle between two of the worst teams in the National League. Miami has been by far the better of the two teams in the second half of the season, and they've won five of their last seven at home. I'll take the Fish at home against a struggling veteran pitcher.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Aaron Harang will be on the mound for the visitors, and he's win-less in his last eight starts. Harang (5-15, 5,04 ERA) allowed three runs on six hits over five innings in a no decision versus the Cubs in his last outing. He's 1-4 with a 7.17 ERA in his last nine starts. The Marlins will counter with Tom Koehler, who has won three straight. Koehler (10-13, 3.90 ERA) allowed one run on five hits over six innings in a win over the Mets in his last start.

2. Home Cookin' - Koehler is 5-4 with a 2.97 ERA in a dozen starts at Marlins Park this season, and he's 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA in three starts in September.

3. X-Factor - The Phillies have lost 20 of their last 26 overall, and they are batting a major league worst .215 in the month of September.
