ROGERS NHL TRIPLE-PLAY! (FEATURES 10* TOTAL!)
(NHL) Boston vs. New Jersey,
Money Line: -152.00 Boston (Away)
Result: Loss
A pair of defeats to Washington and Carolina has really damaged the New Jersey Devils' chances of making it to the postseason as they're now trailing Philadelphia by seven points for the last wild card in the East. The Boston Bruins meanwhile are fighting to hold on the Atlantic Division's last automatic playoff berth, and I like the visitors at Prudential Center tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Devils' Goalscoring Woes - New Jersey is the second lowest scoring team in the NHL this season and has tallied only a total of seven goals in its past four games. The Bruins had struggled for goals during a five-game skid but were 2-for-4 on the power play in a 3-1 win at Toronto Saturday and their 2.87 goals per game average for the season is among the best marks in the league.

2. Previous Meetings - The Bruins have won both previous meetings this season while allowing only a single goal in each of the two games. They're 17-4 in the last 21 meetings in the series and have claimed nine of the past 10 meetings in New Jersey.

3. X-Factor - Boston is 6-2 in its last eight when visiting a team with a losing home record.

Selection: This is a play on the Boston Bruins (8*)
