Rogers' 10* SIDE OF THE MONTH (+$8,000 NBA RUN!)
(NBA) Brooklyn vs. Washington,
Point Spread: -14.50 | -105.00 Washington (Home)
Result: Win
10* SIDE OF THE MONTH Washington Wizards.

The Washington Wizards postseason aspirations have taken a tumble as Sunday's 114-109 defeat to the Clippers at Los Angeles marked their fifth loss in seven games. They still have a long-shot though and have not given up yet, and I think they'll come out ready to continue their dominance of the Nets Wednesday night.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Brooklyn's Recent Games - The Nets are entering this contest on a five-game losing streak during which they've been outscored by an average of 19.6 points. Their offensive play has been absolutely woeful lately averaging 88.3 points per game in their past three and they've allowed an NBA-worst 112.8 points per 100 possessions over their last 10 games.

2. Previous Meetings - The Wizards won 111-96 win at Brooklyn on Dec. 26 and have covered the spread in six of the last eight meetings in the series. They'e 5-1 ATS in te past six meetings at Verizon Center. The last time Brooklyn visited the Verizon Center, they were held to just 77 points in a 114-77 loss.

3. X-Factor - The Nets have announced that both Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young have been shut down for the remainder of the season. Their lineup in recent games looks more like a D-League squad, with players like Thomas Robinson and Henry Sims logging starters minutes.

Selection: This is a play on the Washington Wizards (10*)
