10* LATE NIGHT SPECIAL on Golden State Warriors.
The Golden State Warriors have lost two of their last three games and could theoretically lose the No. 1 seed to the San Antonio Spurs. The two powerhouses will clash twice over the last week of the regular season starting with a match-up at Oracle Arena Thursday night, and I think the Warriors will take care of business in their own building.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Situational - The Warriors had an NBA-record 54-game home winning streak come to an end with a 109-106 loss against Boston Friday and lost again in front of the home fans when they fell to Minnesota in overtime Tuesday. They'll be motivated to reestablish their dominance in Oakland and will also look to revenge an 87-79 loss at San Antonio last month.
2. Road Woes - The home team has covered the spread in four straight meetings in this series and San Antonio is just 1-5 ATS in its last six when visiting a team with a winning home record.
3. X-Factor - The Warriors can still beat the 1995-96 Bulls record of 72 regular season wins if they go perfect over their last four games of the season.
