The Tampa Rays managed to earn a split in a home series versus defending division champs Toronto, and they head to Baltimore to open a new series versus the Orioles on Friday. The Rays appear to have a favorable matchup on the mound, and I like Tampa as a small favorite with it's ace on the mound.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Chris Archer pitched a decent game against the Jays on Opening Day, but his 12 strikeouts in five innings weren't enough to get a win against Toronto. He had better numbers on the road than he did at home in 2015, and he pitched a shutout in his only start in Baltimore.

2. Batter vs. Pitcher - Adam Jones is just 2-for-22 with seven strikeouts lifetime versus Archer. Chris Tillman on the other hand will have to be very wary of Evan Longoria, who is batting .389 with six home runs and nine RBIs lifetime versus the right-hander.

3. X-Factor - Tillman has lost six of his last eight home starts versus Tampa.
