(MLB) St. Louis vs. Atlanta,
Money Line: -171.00 St. Louis (Away)
Result: Win
6* play on St. Louis Cardinals.

The St. Louis Cardinals got off to a slow start, but their big bats sure came alive in Atlanta last night. The Cardinals won by a score of 12-2, and they look good in the series finale with ace Adam Wainwright on the mound. The Braves are still in search of their first win, but I wouldn't bet on them ending their losing streak here today. My money is on the Cardinals.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Wainwright took the loss against the Pirates on Opening Day, but he delivered a quality start going six innings and allowing three runs on six hits. He owns the Braves, going 2-1 with a 1.73 ERA against them since 2013. Atlanta will send Williams Perez to the mound, and he posted a 5.06 ERA in 10 starts in Atlanta last year.

2. Atlanta's Bats - The Braves rank dead last in the major leagues batting a woeful .167. While that may be a small sample size, they did score fewer runs than any major league team last season.

3. X-Factor - The Cardinals are 8-2 in Wainwright's last 10 starts against the Braves.

Selection: This is a play on the St. Louis Cardinals (6*)
