10* FIRST ROUND GAME OF THE YEAR on Detroit Pistons.

The Pistons are a double-digit underdog in Cleveland in Game 1, and I just don't think the bookmakers are giving Detroit enough credit. After all, they did win three of four in the season series, and two of those three wins came in Cleveland. The one game they lost was relatively close (114-106). My money is on the Pistons plus the points.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - Detroit's success against the Cavs this season is nothing new, the Pistons have given the Cavs trouble dating back several seasons. Detroit is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Cleveland.

2 Coaching Experience - Coaching is often overlooked, but the Pistons have a clear advantage here with an experienced coach with plenty of playoff experience. The Cavs enter the post-season for the second year in a row with a rookie head coach. LeBron James commented on Lue: "We're going to find out, but he's our coach and we love him," James said. "We trust the system that he's put in. We trust the process that he's put in, and the game plan going into Sunday we trust. So I think the fact that he's been a part of big playoff games as a player and as a coach benefits our team -- for sure."

3. X-Factor - Home court hasn't been much of an advantage in this series, the road team is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings.

Selection: This is a play on the Detroit Pistons (10*)
