The Rangers are coming off a home series versus Baltimore, taking two of three from the Orioles. They sit in first place in the AL West, and they host the last place Astros at home in Game 1 of a new series Tuesday. My money is on Texas.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Rangers will send veteran left-hander Derek Holland to the mound in Game 1, and he's 1-0 with a sparkling 2.31 ERA after his first two starts. He's pitched quite well against Houston in recent seasons, going 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA in seven starts since 2013.

2. Batter vs. Pitcher - Scott Feldman will go for the Astros, and that's good news for Rougned Odor, who is hitting .357 with a home run and a pair of RBIs lifetime versus Feldman. The Rangers 2nd baseman is hot, going 5-for-12 with four RBIs in three games versus Baltimore.

3. X-Factor - Adrian Beltre and Prince Fielder are tied for 2nd pace in the AL with 11 RBIs each.
