The White Sox have cooled off, coming into Game 2 of this series versus the Angels as losers of three straight. They are still 8-5 on the season, just half a game out of first place in the AL Central. My money is on the Sox to bounce back in this series versus the Halos.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Sox will send veteran right-hander Mat Latos to the mound in Game 2, and the former Reds ace is off to a great start. Latos is 2-0 with a 0.75 ERA, and he's only surrendered one run on just four hits over 12 innings in his first two starts.

2. Batter vs. Pitcher - The White Sox lineup could feast on Angels starter Matt Shoemaker tonight. They are hitting a combined .368 against him in previous meetings. Brett Lawrie has done plenty of damage, going 6-for-12 with a home run.

3. X-Factor - Mike Trout is just 1-for-6 with a pair of strikeouts lifetime versus Latos.
