Rogers' *30 STAR* NBA SWEEPER PASS (BREAK OUT THE BROOMS!)
(NBA) Miami vs. Charlotte,
Point Spread: -2.50 | -105.00 Charlotte (Home)
Result: Win
10* play on Charlotte Hornets.

The Charlotte Hornets gave themselves a chance to get back into this Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series with a 96-80 win against the Miami Heat on Saturday. They'll be looking to avoid traveling to Miami in a 3-1 hole in the series, and I like the Hornets to tie up the series tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - Charlotte was 31-11 straight up home at Time Warner Cable Arena during the regular season while Miami posted a losing road record. The Heat are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games vs. a team with a winning home record and the home team has covered the spread in five of the past seven head-to-head meetings with the Hornets.

2. Frank Kaminsky - The Heat took the first two games of the series by a total of 44 points, but the Hornets looked much better Saturday as Frank Kaminsky was allowed to log extended minutes in Nicolas Batum's absence. The rookie thanked for the vote of confidence with 15 points and six boards, and the 7-footer paired with 6-foot-10 veteran Al Jefferson inside caused the Heat heaps of problems.

3. X-Factor - Charlotte entered Saturday's victory as an ATS dog and it is 11-4 ATS off an upset win as an underdog this season.

Selection: This is a play on the Charlotte Hornets (10*)
