1. Experience - The Blackhawks have lifted the cup in three of the past six seasons, and the winning mentality is deeply embedded in the organization. The players don't buckle under pressure and the team is 9-1 in its last nine elimination games.

2. Patrick Kane - The Chicago sharpshooter's first goal of this postseason earned the Blackhawks a 4-3 overtime win in St. Louis on Thursday. The regular season scoring leader has the ability to up his game when it matters the most.

3. X-Factor - The Blues have a history of coming up short in the playoffs, losing in the first round in each of the last three seasons.
