Rogers' NHL SURE SHOT - 4-1 Last 5 in NHL!
(NHL) Nashville vs. San Jose,
Money Line: -166.00 San Jose (Home)
Result: Win
The San Jose Sharks were oh so close to take a 3-1 lead in the series but fell 4-3 in double overtime Thursday night. Now they're back home at SAP Center were they won the first two meetings in this playoffs series, and I don't think the Predators will come out of the Shark Tank with the win this time around either.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - It was the Sharks strong road record that earned them the third place in the competitive Pacific Division during the regular season. The team has however made the most of its home games here in the playoffs, winning three of four with the lone loss an overtime defeat against the Kings.

2. Special Teams - The Sharks are 4-for-14 on the man advantage in this series and they have totaled nine power play goals in nine playoff games. The Predators have managed just a total of four power play goals in 11 games here in the postseason.

3. X-Factor - Day of the week trends is not something to base your handicapping around, but considering that the Predators are 1-4 in their last five Saturday games while the Sharks have won five of their past six, it would seem that the Sharks have an advantage here.

Selection: This is a play on the San Jose Sharks (8*)
