Tuesday's 4-0 win at Scottrade Center saw the San Jose Sharks steal home-ice advantage away from the St. Louis Blues. The job is far from done though with the series tied at 1-1, but I think the Sharks will consolidate their newly gained advantage with a win in front of the home fans tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Sharks dropped their first home game of the playoffs 2-1 in overtime to the Kings. They've won each of their five since though and outscored Nashville by a combined 10-1 over the last two.

2. Special Teams - The Sharks were 2-for-5 on the man advantage in Tuesday's victory while successfully stifling each of the Blues' six chances. They lead the NHL with 15 power-play goals having converted on 31.6 percent of their opportunities while St. Louis 78.7 percent on the penalty kill is the worst of all the remaining teams.

3. X-Factor - Three of the top four players for points here in the playoffs are Sharks (Logan Couture, Brent Burns and Joe Pavelski).
