Rogers' 10* MLB Game of the Week ~ MIND-BLOWING 68-37-3 MLB Run!
(MLB) LA Dodgers vs. San Francisco,
Money Line: -104.00 San Francisco (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: -104.00 San Francisco (Home)
Result: Win
The Dodgers took the lead in the 10th inning in San Francisco last night, but Buster Posey would win it with a walkoff single in the bottom of the inning. The Giants are now four games clear at the top of the NL West, and after earning a split in the first two games, I like San Fran in the rubber match.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - It will be the cagey veteran Jake Peavy starting opposite the Dodgers 19 year old phenom Julio Urias. The rookie is coming off a fantastic performance against Colorado, striking out seven while allowing a run on four hits in four innings. He wasn't very efficient though, as he used 86 pitches to get through those four innings. Peavy has won two of his last three starts, surrendering just one run in those victories.
2. Batter vs. Pitcher - The Dodgers have been stymied by Peavy, managing just a .193 average over a combined 145 at bats. Chase Utley is 1-for-17 with five strikeouts lifetime versus Peavy.
3. X-Factor - The Giants have won 20 of their last 28 overall, and seven of their last nine at AT&T Park.
Selecton: This is a play on the San Francisco Giants (10*)
