Result: Win
The Pittsburgh Penguins failed to close out the Stanley Cup Finals home at Consol Energy Center on Thursday when they lost Game 4 of the series 4-2. They're still holding a 3-2 lead in the series, and I think they'll get to lift the trophy with a win in the Shark Tank tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Dominant Penguins - The Pens fell two goals behind already after 2.53 of the first period in the last game, but battled themselves back to even before surrendering another goal just before the intermission. The Pens dominated the game from there on, and out-shot San Jose 46-22 in the end. They've won the shots in all but one of the four games in the series, and the Sharks can not expect Martin Jones to make monster saves time and time again.
2. Situational - The Sharks have made it to the finals despite struggling to string wins together. They're 2-6 in their past eight following a win and the Pens are likely to come back with a vengeance tonight as they're 21-5 in their last 26 after scoring two goals or fewer in their previous game.
3. X-Factor - The Pens power play is heating up and they're 2-for-6 in the last two contests. The Sharks have failed to take advantage on any of their eight opportunities through the past four games.
Selection: This is a play on Pittsburgh Penguins (10*)
