Rogers' 10* NFL Game of the Week
(NFL) Arizona vs. Buffalo,
Point Spread: -3.50 | -108.00 Arizona (Away)
Result: Loss
Arizona: The Cards were upset by the Pats 23-21 in Week 1 but rebounded with a 40-7 rout of the Bucs in Week 2. However, despite the 40 points last week, head coach Bruce Arians wasn't happy with his offense. "The score doesn't indicate, I don't think, how poorly we played offensively." As for his defense, Arians had no complaints. Arizona held the Bucs to seven points and 85 yards rushing for the game, while forcing Jameis Winston into five turnovers (four INTs and a lost fumble). The Cardinals head out on the road for the first time in 2016, coming off a 2015 season in which they went 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS away from home.

Buffalo: Buffalo seemed happy to be able to hire Rex Ryan after he was fired by the Jets after the 2014 season and as he is prone to do, Ryan immediately opened his big mouth and guaranteed success. The Bills were a so-so 8-8 last season and have now opened 0-2 in 2016 and Ryan's ‘seat' is getting a little ‘warm.' Buffalo ranked first in the NFL in rushing last year (152.0 YPG) but the Bills currently rank 24th (75.5 YPG), averaging only 3.5 YPC. That got offensive coordinator Greg Roman fired after Buffalo loss last week to the Jets. Ryan's new DC is his brother but after a strong Week 1 effort, the Bills D was a shredded by the Jets, who scored 37 points on 493 yards with 28 FDs.

The pick: "Obviously, we are extremely disappointed where we're at, 0-2," Ryan said. "We didn't expect to be in this situation right now. ... It's not like we're hanging our heads. We just know we have to get better and we have to get better in a hurry. It's two games. We've been beat by six points in both games. I get it. It's not where you want it to be, but there's a lot of football left to be played, win, lose or draw." All the quotes in the world won't help Ryan or the Bills if they don't win here. This a "circle-the-wagons game" but the Cards are a Super Bowl-caliber opponent, which certainly has noi interest in falling to 1-2. Arizona is a 10* play.
