(NFL) Baltimore vs. New England,
Point Spread: -6.00 | -110.00 New England (Home)
Result: Win
The set-up: The 7-5 Baltimore Ravens need to win in Foxboro tonight to keep up with the Steelers in the NFC North, as Pittsburgh moved to 8-5 with a 27-20 win in Buffalo. The 10-2 Pats can maintain a three-game lead over the Dolphins in the AFC East with a win and after tonight, all teams have just three games remaining.

Baltimore: The Ravens come off their most impressive win of the season, a 38-6 demolition of Miami last week that snapped the Dolphins' six-game winning streak. Baltimore is now 4-1 in its last five games. Flacco's season has been filled with mediocre efforts but he established season highs with 381 yards passing and four TDs against the Dolphins, while setting a franchise record with 36 completions. The kind of overall season Flacco has had is reflected in the fact that Baltimore ranks 21st in scoring, averaging a modest 21.3 PPG. However, the Ravens defense is again "on its game," ranking first in yards allowed (296.1 YPG) and with Seattle allowing 38 points at Green Bay yesterday, the Ravens are now No. 1 in points allowed, at 17.2 PPG.

New England: Tom Brady is having an incredible season since returning from his four-game Deflategate suspension. He's completed 68.9 percent of his passes, throwing 19 TDs and just one interception, the ONLY pick thrown by New England's three QBs this season. He will again be without his No. 1 receiving target in TE Rob Gronkowski but Brady seems to make do with whomever is available. New England has won three in a row, although the combined record of those opponents entering Week 13 is 8-28. The Ravens will have their full attention.

The pick: Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens have a 3-5 record in games against Brady and the New England Patriots, not all that bad. However, Brady and Flacco have split four postseason games, the Patriots are 7-1 all-time against the Ravens in the regular season. It's unlikely the Flacco we saw last Sunday will show up Sunday, as he's had multiple TD games just three times in 2016. Beating the virtually mistake-free Pats (NFL-low eight giveaways on the season) here in Foxboro this time of year is a pretty be ‘ask.' With the raiders losing on Thursday, the Pats take over the No. 1 seed spot with a win. Lay it and make the Pats a 10* play.
