(NHL) Florida vs. Minnesota,
Money Line: -145.00 Minnesota (Home)
Result: Win
The set-up: The 13-12-4 Florida Panthers take on the 15-8-4 Minnesota Wild Tuesday night. The Panthers open a three-game trip that also takes them to Winnipeg and Colorado just 5-7-4 on the road this season. That certainly doesn't bode well as the Wild are 9-3-0 at home this season plus goalie Devan Dubnyk is ‘on fire!'

Florida: The Panthers ended a four-game slide with a 4-2 victory over Vancouver on Saturday and are 2-2-3 since Tom Rowe replaced Gerard Gallant as coach. "We can't think about a 12-game winning streak, just worry about each night," Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo told reporters. "We can't look too far ahead. If we do the right things, everything will work out eventually." The season has been a struggle but the Panthers remain solidly in the middle of the pack in the Atlantic Division, making every available point critical.

Minnesota: The Wild are on their best roll of the season, having allowed six goals during a four-game winning streak and have gained at least a point in all five December games (4-0-1) after knocking off St. Louis 3-1 on Sunday. Goalie Devan Dubnyk has allowed just eight goals in five December games and continues to be the biggest reason Minnesota is in hunt for the Central Division title. He owns a 13-6-3 record, 1.63 goals-against average and .946 save percentage on the season.

The pick: The Wild are just playing too well right now, to go against at home. Dubnyk keeps them in every game plus Minnesota is 6-1-1 in its last eight meetings with Florida, winning four straight at home in the series.Minnesota is an 8* play.
