The set-up: The 32-23 Atlanta Hawks scored the final 12 points in overtime to earn a 109-104 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, giving them four wins in their last six games. They are in LA tonight at Staples Center to face the 34-21 Clippers, who have won three in a row. With the All Star break looming this weekend, the Hawks and Clippers each occupy fourth place in their respective conferences.

Atlanta: All-Star PF Paul Millsap is Atlanta's leading scorer at 18.1 points PPG (adds RPG) with PG Dennis Schroder (17.5 & 6.3 APG) just behind him. He team-high 25 points at Portland and has scored in double figures in a career-best 10 straight games.

The LA Clippers: PG Chris Paul (17.5-5.3-9.7) is still out but PF Blake Griffin (22.0-8.9-4.9) is back. He had 26 points, 10 rebounds and six assists against the Jazz.He's averaging 24.3-8.9-5.3 in the nine games since from knee surgery. Center DeAndre Jordan leads the NBA in field-goal percentage (69.4 percent) and is third in rebounding (13.7). He finished with 10 points, 13 rebounds and three blocked shots in Monday's 88-72 victory at Utah.

The pick: Prior to Monday's shut down of Utah (Jazz scored 72 points on percent 32.2 percent shooting), the Clippers had allowed 100-plus points in 11 consecutive games.
