*EARLY!* Rogers' 10* TOTAL MASSACRE >> 3-1 Saturday! 18-9 Run with 10*s!
(NCAAB) Cincinnati vs. Connecticut,
Total: 126.50 | -108.00 Under
Result: Loss
The set-up: The No. 18 Cincinnati Bearcats cap a terrific regular season with this game at UConn. Cincinnati is 26-4 (15-2 in AAC games) and was expected to be fighting for the league title but so was and Connecticut (at least according to preseason expectations) but instead, the Huskies limp into this game 14-15 overall, including 9-8 in AAC play.

Cincinnati: The Bearcats can't catch SMU, which has wrapped its season with an 17-1 league mark, as the Mustangs closed the regular season on an amazing 23-1 run! The Bearcats haven't been far behind SMU, as thetetam is 23-3 since a third-place finish in the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame Tip-Off, played in Connecticut back in November. Yes, the Bearcats are locked into the No. 2 seed for the American Athletic Conference tournament next week in Hartford, Conn but don't look for Cincinnati to let up. The Bearcats lost to Rhode Island at the Hall of Fame Tip-Off in the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., on Nov. 19 before routing Penn State the following day - a win that launched a stretch in which they won 20 of their next 21 before falling at SMU on Feb. 12. Mick Cronin's team is outstanding on defense, allowing 60.6 PPG (5th) on 38.2% shooting (7th). However, it has great balance on teheoffensive end (six players contribute between 7.6 and 13.5 PPG), averaging a solid 74.9 PPG.

UConn: Injuries derailed UConn's season early on, losing guard Larrier (13.5 PPG in four contests) and Gilbert (10.3 PPG in three contests). Kevin Ollie has gotten good play from PG Adams (14.5-4.2-6.4) and SG Purvis (13.2 & 4.2) but waiting for the 7-0 Brimah (7.6 & 6.1) to eventually turn into a dominating big mean has been fool's gold.

The pick: It's Senior Day for UConn and before losing at home to Cincy last year, the Huskies had won four straight home games vs. the Bearcats. Cincy's defense always keeps these over/under numbers low and I believe the Over is worth a 10* play in this one.
