Felix Pena and the hard-hitting Angels have the advantage in this matchup on the mound though in my opinion, and I look for them to make the most of it. Baltimore sends David Hess to the hill to counter.

The pitchers: Pena is so far 0-0 with a 5.40 ERA. He most recently gave up three runs with six strikeouts over five innings in a no-decision against the Jays on Sunday. Over two spot starts he's posted a solid 12:4 K/BB.

Hess is so far 2-4 with a 5.44 ERA. Hess most recently allowed five runs off seven hits over four innings in a loss to Atlanta on Sunday. He's now allowed five earned runs in each of his last three trips to the hill.

The pick: Take it for what you will as well, but LA is 10-1 (+8.2 units) this year as a road favorite in the -125 to -175 range, while Baltimore is already just 8-13 (-5.7 units) at home when the money line is set set between -150 and +150. I like Pena to continue his steady progression and for the Angels to deliver the goods. Lay the price.
