The set-up: This is the second time in the last eight days that these teams have faced off against each other.

The teams: The Mystics are 10-6 overall and they are in first place in the East. Elena Delle Donne is averaging 22.5 points and 1.88 blocks per game and she's made 44 of 45 free throws this year. Washington's four-game win streak was snapped in an 84-74 loss to the Phoenix Mercury most recently though and I'm expecting another letdown here.

The Liberty are the "hungrier" team at this point, coming in with a 5-12 record. Most recently New York fell 77-62 to Seattle on Tuesday. Previous to that though the Liberty had posted back-to-back games with over 95 points scored. Bria Hartley was a standout with 16 points in a losing cause.

The pick: Note that this is an in-season "revenge" game as well for New York, which lost a close one at Washington 80-77 on June 28th. I'm not calling for the outright upset, but I do think the stage is set for a competitive battle. Grab the points.
