Rogers' ROUND TRIPPER >> 6-2 Last 2 Days!
(MLB) Texas vs. San Diego,
Money Line: -145.00 San Diego (Home)
Result: Loss
The set-up: I think this is in fact a bigger mismatch on the mound than what this line would suggest. The visitors hand the ball to Ariel Jurado, while the home side goes with Eric Lauer.

The pitchers: Jurado is so far 2-5 with a 7.03 ERA. He comes in off a loss against the Angels in a spot start and so far he sports a terrible 1.67 WHIP. Additionally note that the rookie has been atrocious on the road with a 1-4, 8.18 ERA.

Lauer is so far 5-7 with a 4.80 ERA. He most recently gave up no runs wile striking out eight over four innings in a no-decision on Thursday. Since returning from the DL Lauer has yet to give up a run over nine frames of work.

The pick: Take it for what you will as well, but the Padres are 7-2 in their last nine inter-league home night games in which the line in the contest is set between +150 and -150. Lay the price, play on San Diego.
