Rogers' 10* Monday Night GAME OF THE MONTH >> 22-9-1 Overall in October!
(NFL) Washington vs. New Orleans,
Point Spread: 6.00 | -105.00 Washington (Away)
Result: Loss
The set-up: Washington will be looking to hold New Orleans' QB Drew Brees to under 200 yards passing tonight. Easier said than done obviously, but the motivation is there, as Brees needs 201 passing yards to become the league's all time passing leader. New Orleans comes in complacent though after three straight wins in my opinion and I expect the hungry Skins to feast.

The teams: The Skins have had two whole weeks off to prepare for this one. QB Alex Smith has so far completed 68.8 percent of his passes for 767 yards, four TD's and one INT. RB Adrian Peterson so far has a very respectable 236 yards and three TD's. Note that he's also 4 for 7 for 182 yards with a TD on passes that travel more than 21 yards.

Brees has looked great so far this year and the offense (as usual) for the Saints is rounding into mid-season form right on cue. New Orleans' defensive play has always been its achilles heel, and while the unit did look decent last week against the Giants, I think Smith is going to have plenty of opportunities in the air as well tonight.

The pick: Take it for what you will as well, but New Orleans is a poor 1-5 ATS in its last six MNF games and 1-4 ATS in its last five at home overall, while Washington is 8-3 ATS in its last 11 as an underdog in the 3.5 to ten points range. Play on the Skins.
