The set-up: I base my picks on many different things. This one is based on scheduling and the revenge factor. Carolina lost at home to Winnipeg just last night and I think it comes in dog tired in the second game of the back-to-back at the end of the season. The Predators play with revenge here after falling 6-3 in Carolina earlier in the season. From a situational point of view, there's no doubt that this one sets up great for the home side.

The pick: Take it for what you will as well though, but Carolina is just 12-13 (-2 units) this year vs. teams with winning records, while the Predators are 67-45 (+7.7 units) the last two seasons revenging a loss vs. an opponent and 3-1 (+1.3 units) this year when playing with three or more days rest. This line should be higher. Lay it.
