10* AFTERNOON SLAUGHTER HOUSE >>> 19-4 RUN ON THE LINE!
(MLB) Baltimore vs. Chi White Sox,
Money Line: -172.00 Chi White Sox (Home)
Result: Loss
The set-up:The Orioles have scored three runs or fewer during its current four game losing streak. Baltimore starter Andrew Cashner has looked better than Chicago starter Ivan Nova in the early going, but I think the home side will capitalize on this Orioles team that continues to struggle at the plate. Note that this is the second game of a double header. The White Sox come into Wednesday having won three straight.

The pitchers: Cashner (4-1, 4.18 ERA) actually beat the White Sox in his last outing, giving up one run over seven innings. Are his early numbers sustainable? History would say no, as Cashner was just 4-15 with a 5.29 ERA in 2018, including only 2-8 with a 5.30 ERA on the road.

The good news for Nova (0-3, 8.42) is that there's only one way his performance can go from here after a shaky start to the 2019 campaign. Nova's out for revenge here after giving up nine runs to the Orioles last week.

The pick: Take it for what you will as well, but Baltimore is just 2-7 in its last nine road games as an underdog in the +125 to +165 range, while Chicago is 8-3 in its last 11 at home after a three games or more unbeaten streak.
