The set-up: This has been a great series and if you're watching and wagering on this contest, then the story lines are likely very well known. The Stars and Blues played a Game 7 in St. Louis last night and after two OT's, "home ice" proved to be the difference for St. Louis in my estimation. Colorado managed a 4-3 OT win at home on Monday night in Game 6, but I think the Avs will run out of steam in this difficult road venue. Note that the Sharks are 5-2 at home in the playoffs.

The pick: Additionally note that Colorado is still only 28-71 in its last 99 as a road dog, while the Sharks are 7-2 in their last nine home games following at OT loss in which they allowed four or more goals in. All things considered, a great price on the home side.
