The set-up: Zack Davies has started to falter down the stretch of the first half for the Brewers and I think he'll have his hands full in his final trip to the hill before the Mid-Summer Classic as well. The home side hands the ball to the resurgent Steven Brault.

The pitchers: Davies (7-2, 3.24 ERA) is 2-0 with a 2.95 ERA in three match-ups vs. the Pirates this year, but he's just 4-5 with a 5.08 ERA in 12 career outings against them.

Brault (3-1, 4.29) is 2-0 with a 2.01 ERA over his last six starts since re-joining the rotation in May.

The pick: Milwaukee is a poor 11-14 (-4.6 units) vs. southpaws this season and the Brewers come in struggling mightily at the plate right now, having been shut out in back-to-back games (extending their scoreless streak to 23 innings.) I think Brault takes advantage. Consider the home side in this one.
