The set-up: Considering the recent form of these two starters, I believe this total is set much too high. The Royals go with the red hot Brad Keller, while the home side counters with ace Jake Odorizzi.

Odorizzi (12-5, 3.73) comes in off a dominant performance vs. the Marlins, giving up one run off four hits while striking out five over six innings in the 2-1 victory. Through 108.2 frames of work this year Odorizzi has a sharp 113:37 K:BB.

The pick: Take it for what you will as well, but KC has seen the total dip under the number in eight of 12 already this year on the road when the total in the contest is set at either 10 or 10.5, while Minnesota has seen the total go under in ten of 16 at home when the total is set in the same range. This number is high.
