The set-up: Off an embarrassing 8-1 loss last night, I like Oakland to dip deep and find a way to respond on Friday night. The Astros go with Christian Javier on the mound tonight and while he's shown plenty of promise, in his two outings vs. the A's last year he would get shelled for seven runs off six hits over eight innings.

The pick: The A's will turn to Jesus Luzardo, who has a decent .235 opponent batting average over the last two years. He faced Houston twice last year and allowd four runs over 12.2 innings of work. Javier only pitched three total innings in spring training. I'm going with Luzardo at this great price and in this revenge spot.
