The set-up: Game 1 had the potential to "under" the number, but the Bruins scored three unanswered goals late in the third period for the big 5-2 victory. The Islanders are the No. 2 defense in the league still though and if they want to steak a game here in Boston and secure a "split," they're going to have to get back on track and dicate the tempo of tonight's contest.

The pick: The Bruins were terrible over the first half of the season, but they've been the best team in the league over the second. Boston is equally adept on both ends of the ice and can play any style of game. One thing to note here though is that New York has seen the total go "under" in eight of its last 11 in trying to revenge a three-goals or greater road loss against an opponent. All signs point to the under as the correct call in Game 2.
