Alex Wood (6-3, 4.09 ERA) is coming off a crummy start for the Giants, but I still love him here over confirmed "gas can" Frankie Montas 7-7, 4.79) for the A's. Montas was lit up in his last outing and he's struggled on the road.

The pick: San Francisco is also 7-2 in its last nine after shutting out its opponent in a home victory in its last outing. Considering the circumstances, I think we're getting an excellent price here on the home side.
