In a highly-touted MNF match-up, the Bills are on the road against the Bengals in what could be a playoff-like situation. The game is projected to be very close. I am taking the Bills to emerge victorious, and here is why.
Bills running game: The Bengals are tough against the run, but most opposing teams just aren't running against them recently. The Bills are an excellent and diverse rushing team, putting up some very large numbers. Cincinnati hasn't faced a good rushing QB like Allen in some time. I expect a big game from Allen on the ground.
Bills pass defense: Buffalo has a solid edge here; 14th vs 21st in pass yards allowed, 8th vs 26th in yards per completion, and 83 vs 90 in average passer rating allowed in the last 3 games. Bills pass defense has shown significant improvement lately while the Bengals' has been static on on the decline.
Bengals' running game: As good as Burrow is, the Bengals' offense is very much pass-first, rushing for just over 80 yards on average lately. The Bills' elite defense will key on Burrow.
Bengals kicking issues: If this game is as close as expected, a missed field goal may well decide the game. The Bengals' kicker has been inconsistent this year.
It will be close but I am a firm believer in the Bills. Take them on the Money Line to win
