Like the setup here as Davidson is coming off a blowout win (at home) against Loyola (80-57) while VCU is off a result they’d “like to have back” as the Rams fell 79-70 at Duquesne. Prior to that loss, VCU had ripped off five straight wins - all here at home.

Defensively, I’ve got no concerns with this VCU team. They are 50th in the country as per KenPom and hold teams to 64.5 points/game while also forcing an average of 17.5 turnovers.

Thus, I cannot see Davidson even coming close to matching its offensive output from last time out. They shot 56% from the floor. Should be noted that in their last road game, even though it was a win, the Wildcats only scored 57 points. The road game before that, they lost at Delaware.

VCU has struggled ATS so far this season, but this looks to be a buy low spot and the market agrees. The favorite is 7-2 ATS the L9 meetings in this A-10 rivalry and the home team is 8-3 ATS L11. Lay the points.
