At 8:00pm ET, my NHL GOW is on the Florida Panthers. Down 3-0 in their series against Boston, we saw the Dallas Mavericks show a lot of pride to force a Game 5. Down 3-0 in this series, we saw the Oilers do the same thing. Last night, we saw what happened to the Mavericks. They won their token game to avoid the sweep but there's no coming back from 3-0. The series ended in 5. Tonight, the NHL finals will continue to play out the same way as the NBA Finals.

Florida has won 5 of the past 6 meetings. The Oilers aren't nearly as good away from Edmonton. The Panthers have been great at responding to bad losses. During these playoffs, the Panthers have lost by three or more goals on 2 other instances. Florida and goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky responded with 6-1 victories the next game, both times.
