The Coach's NHL Afternoon ANNIHILATOR - 10* Top Rated

Both the Winnipeg Jets and the visiting Colorado Avalanche are looking for their third win of the season as the two teams will clash at MTS Centre this afternoon. The Avs are coming off an impressive 7-3 win against the Canucks, and I like their chances of picking up another 2 points here.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. The Jets (lack of) Offense - Only Buffalo and Florida has a worse goal per game average than Winnipeg this season, as they have found the net only 13 times over seven games. A majority of those goals came in the 6-2 win in the season opener at Phoenix, and they have only scored more than one goal in a game once since.
2. Home Woes - Winnipeg does not enjoy the same home advantage most teams do. The Jets were barely above .500 last season, going 18-17-6 for one of the leagues worst home records.
3. X-factor - Matt Duchene has three goals and seven points for the Avs this season. He has tested opponents goalies with 31 shots so far, making him the seventh shot happiest player in the NHL, and is likely to get on the scoresheet tonight as he had four goals and two assists over five games against the Jets last season.
Selection: This is a play on the Colorado Avalanche (10*)
