I'm expecting a "closer than most expect" battle here between these teams. Yes, Denver has the better record and is at home and having a strong season. However, the Lakers are expecting to have Doncic and James both on the floor for this one and they will build off their win at Portland. Also, they have revenge from an embarrassing home loss by 25 points back around Thanksgiving. The Lakers have won 13 of 17 games and one of the four losses was by just 3 points. Tremendous value here with this spread in the +7 range. LA looks to return the favor of the beatdown at home to the Nuggets earlier this season. Though they might fall just short, this one goes down to the wire which makes the points invaluable. Don't be surprised if this one decided on the final possession.
