Going against road teams off win as home underdogs is 421-193 for +115.3 units. Fresh off stunning Green Bay (well not really, we had them), Buffalo will travel 2294 miles to Oakland.

Oakland has won their last two home games outright. Both were against playoff contenders (at least at the time as the 49ers have dropped out). The Bills play the Patriots next week.

We have told you that for years betting on home teams in spoiler situations (no chance at making the playoffs) against a team with literally no or realistically no margin of error are a great bet. However in recent years it does appear week 17 in the one week many also rans do tank, but not before that.

A team winning percentage of .250 or less hosting a team with a winning percent of .510-.590 in weeks 15 and 16 are a very impressive 11-7 straight up. Oakland has won every home series meeting since 1992.

Several players have spoken in support of bringing back interim coach Tony Sparano. This is a chance to speak loudly. This could potentially be the Raiders last game in Oakland, and the team will feed off the energy.
