Bill Belichick has compiled an overall record of 42-35 (.545) in the preseason, including a 31-26 (.544) mark as Patriots head coach. Belichick teams have been .500 or above in 16 of his 19 previous preseasons as a head coach in the NFL. Teams practiced together and all accounts are that New England dominated on both sides of the ball. Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III looked indecisive, inaccurate and pulled the ball down too many times in the face of oncoming pressure from the Patriots front. He is adjusting to more of a pocket passer and this is a huge mistake, eliminating his biggest strength.
