ULM has to replace Kolton Browing, a four-year starter who was the 2012 Sun Belt Player of the Year. Browing heaved 68 passes last September against the Deacons, completing 43 for 315 yards and three touchdowns. They changed their entire offense to suit Browing but no are adjusting back.

Replacing him is Pete Thomas a NC State transfer whom Wake Forest feasted on last year. Wake Forest pulled away from the Wolfpack to a 28-13 victory, intercepting Thomas twice and holding him to 257 yards on 43 passes.
