Tech is in a bit of a bubble burst, a loss in a burgeoning rivalry to Duke, the Jackets first setback of the year. UNC is very talented. They are a more talented team that Tech. Ranked 30th in our preseason power ratings, while Tech was much lower, this is a regression to the mean game.

UNC showed signs of life by being competitive to Notre Dame, while Tech came back down to earth.

The Tar Heels have not had many problems offensively this season, averaging 37.2 ppg on 433.0 yards of total offense. Marquese Williams is a big reason for that success, completing just over 60 percent of his passes, for 1,386 yards, with 11 TDs. He is also the team top gainer on the ground, rushing for 375 yards on the year with three TDs.

A deep receiving corps is headlined by Ryan Switzer (25 rec, 293 yds, 1 TD), Mack Hollins (21 rec, 389 yds, 4 TDs) and Quinshad Davis (19 rec, 253 yds, 4 TDs).
