One of the biggest games in the Big 10 comes in State College, and I'm going against the grain. Penn State is seen as a playoff threat, but I'm not 100% sold. They haven't beaten any team of substance to this point in the season, and head coach James Franklin's record in big games is far from enviable.

Illinois, meanwhile, is 4-0 with solid wins over Nebraska and Kansas. They're definitely an underdog, and I wouldn't advise anyone going crazy and taking them on the money line, but 18 points seems like way too big a spread. This seems like a 10-14 point game, and because of that, I'll gladly take the Illini to get within 18.
