Saturday's a big day in Berkeley. ESPN College Gameday is in town for the first time, and excitement will be high for a late game. There's just one problem: We're not quite 100% sure Cal is very good.

Yes, the Golden Bears beat Auburn a few weeks ago, but that win hasn't aged well. Last week, they looked hopeless on offense in a 14-9 loss to lowly Florida State. How am I supposed to think they'll keep up with Cam Ward and Miami? The Hurricanes haven't scored fewer than 38 points in a game all year long.

It's possible Cal's defense is the best one Miami's faced all season long. Even so, I simply don't see how Cal keeps up enough to cover this spread. At best, this hits me as a 14 to 17-point game in favor of the Hurricanes, and for that reason, I love Miami in this spot.
