This line befuddles me a bit. Washington State travels to Fresno State and is only favored by three points. I think this line should be much bigger, and I like the Cougars quite a bit.

Washington State comes in off of a loss to Boise State. They didn't have an answer for Heisman contender Ashton Jeanty...but who has? I can't hold that against the Cougars too much, especially given the 4-0 start to the season they had before that. Among those wins was a victory over in-state rival Washington and a thrilling shootout victory over a solid San Jose State team.

Fresno State, meanwhile, has faltered against strong competition. They yielded 59 points to UNLV two weeks ago, and their best win may be a victory over FCS foe Sacramento State. I don't think the Bulldogs get blown out, but I was expecting a six or seven-point spread. It being only three means I'm very bullish on Washington State.
