Cubs over Twins- It seems a bit odd to me that the Cubs would open the favorite in Las Vegas at Minnesota when the Twins are starting their ace Phil Hughes (4-6, 4.79 ERA). This seems even more surprising when you realize the Twins pitching staff has allowed only one run in each of their consecutive victories and a total of 11 in their last five contests. Chicago has won five of the last six games started by Kyle Hendricks (2-2, 3.80) and bring some of baseball's best young talent to the park everyday. Hughes is winless in his past three starts but is 3-2 with a 4.85 ERA in six home starts this season and this is why that opening 'price' has me shaking my head. Take the CUBS!
