Trojans (+) over Cardinal- When these two met in September Steve Sarkisian was still the USC coach and they were a 9½-point favorite at home. Stanford won that contest convincingly 41-31 as they rallied from an 11-point deficit as they won for the sixth time in the last nine meetings. USC still leads the all-time series 60-30-3 and needs to control the ball to keep it out of the hands of Kevin Hogan who can do it all for Stanford. Since Clay Helton has taken over as head coach the Trojans have out-rushed all seven opponents and with Cody Kessler running the offense USC can control the time of possession.
