Pirates over Rockies- Now, when looking at the 'price' of this contest I am a bit surprised that the (28-35) Pirates are favored over the first-place Rockies. Colorado will start rookie sensation Kyle Freeland (7-3, 3.34 ERA) who is 4-0 with a 3.18 ERA in six road starts. Pittsburgh will start Jameson Taillon (2-1, 3.31) who is returning after testicular cancer surgery and he is has held opponents to a .226 career average at home with a 3.14 ERA. Numbers don't lie...Take PITTSBURGH!
