Lakers (+) over Celtics- Many thought and I must admit I was one of them, that the Celtics' season was in peril after Gordon Hayward went down five minutes into the season. Boston lost their first two games and appeared lost. But, I failed to consider how good a coach Brad Stevens is! They have responded to Hayward's injury by bonding together and winning nine straight. This rivalry at one time defined the league and now with the Lakers lack of success in recent seasons has taken some of the luster off the meeting. Boston passed on Lonzo Ball (shooting below 30% from the field) in the 2017 draft trading down to take a 'real professional in Jayson Tatum who is averaging 14.3 points shooting over 50% from the floor. So, what! Take LOS ANGELES!
