Dodgers over Nationals- Doesn't the 'price' seem exceedingly high? It does to me! The first thing that seems unlikely to me is that both these clubs are 1-game under .500 after 21 games and the winner here will reach the break-even mark. The Dodgers are heavy favorites here and that is based on the pitching matchup. Los Angeles is starting Alex Wood (0-2, 3.91 ERA) who has pitched in bad luck and poor support in his four starts but is 4-3 with a 2.51 ERA in 10 career starts against the Nationals. Washington is starting Jeremy Hellickson (0-0, 3.86) who is pitching to a WHIP of 1.71 and is 0-1 with a 6.88 ERA at Dodgers Stadium. Note that the Nationals are 7-13 against the Dodgers the past three seasons and LA is 81-36 in their last 117 home games. Take LOS ANGELES!
