Royals over Tigers- The Royals had lost 10 straight at home but have turned things around at Kauffman Stadium winning their last four. Detroit like Kansas City is not expected to compete this season and have lost All-Star and former MVP Miguel Cabrea to the DL with a strained hamstring. The Tigers are sending Francisco Liriano (3-1, 3.38 ERA) who is 8-5 with a 4.21 ERA lifetime against the Royals who will send veteran Ian Kennedy (1-3, 3.48) who is 3-4 with a 4.01 lifetime ERA. The fact that the Royals are 'hot' at home averaging 6.2 runs makes them the side to me. Take KANSAS CITY!
